Dr. Andrew Knoll joined Moran, Rowen & Dorsey in July of 2010. He is a Diagnostic Radiologist, certified by the American Board of Radiology. Dr. Knoll holds a subspecialty in Musculoskeletal Imaging.
Dr. Knoll received his medical degree from New York Medical College in Valhalla, NY. While at New York Medical College, Dr. Knoll was recognized for academic excellence and was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha National Honor Medical Society. In 2005, Dr. Knoll began his residency in Diagnostic Radiology at the University of California Irvine Medical Center. He later served as Chief Resident for the UCI Department of Radiological Sciences. Dr. Knoll has also completed a mini fellowship in Cardiovascular CT at UCI's Cardiovascular Imaging Center of Education and Research. In 2010, he completed his Musculoskeletal Imaging fellowship at the University of California, San Diego.
In an effort to keep informed of all the latest technologies and breakthroughs in his field, Dr. Knoll belongs to several local and national medical societies. Dr. Knoll is also fluent in Spanish, which enhances communication between the MRD radiologists and our Spanish speaking patients.
Although Dr. Knoll is a native of New Haven, Connecticut, he is happy to call Southern California home. Aside from being an outdoorsman, he is an avid sports enthusiast. Dr. Knoll enjoys skiing, long distance running and attending sporting events. Dr. Knoll is a husband and father who strives for the perfect work-life balance.
