Dr. Hieu Truong joined Moran, Rowen & Dorsey in 2005. He is a Diagnostic Radiologist who is Board Certified by the American Board of Radiology. Dr. Truong holds a subspecialty in Musculoskeletal Imaging as well as Nuclear Medicine. He is currently serving as the co-Director of Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging at St. Joseph Hospital.
Dr. Truong received his medical degree from the University of California, San Francisco School of Medicine after graduating Summa Cum Laude from the University of California, Irvine. He completed his Radiology residency at UCLA Medical Center, where he also served as Chief Resident and was awarded the Outstanding Graduating Resident Award. Dr. Truong went on to complete his fellowship training in Magnetic Resonance Imaging and Musculoskeletal Radiology at USC, as well as an additional fellowship in Nuclear Medicine and PET/CT at UCLA.
Dr. Truong was recognized for his many achievements during his medical training. In addition, he is an active member of the Society of Nuclear Medicine, the American College of Radiology, the California Radiological Society, the Los Angeles Radiological Society, and the Orange County Radiological Society. These affiliations help keep him abreast of the latest advances in the field of Radiology.
When he’s not working, Dr. Truong loves traveling, photography, snowboarding, and raising tropical fish.
